Join the Valley Fab Lab trainers for a step-by-step guide for printing with our Roland TruVIS SG2-540 Large Format Printer Cutter. This event features two separate classes: using Inkscape to create your designs and using Roland VersaWorks to print your job. Expand your sign, vehicle graphics, commercial print or other customization business with a cost-effective and reliable printer/cutter that provides premium graphics output. This machine works exceptionally well for printing and cutting stickers and labels, creating graphics for heat transfer onto apparel, display banners, and other promotional graphics. With a media width capacity of 10.8 to 53 inches, this versatile machine provides a print resolution up to 1,200 dpi and a cutting speed of 0.4 to 11.8 inches per second. If you have not used the Inkscape program, the morning class is required. If you have already learned how to use it in another class, your attendance is optional, but it is always good to experiment with advanced functions with a VFL trainer for help. The clearance class will be 60-90 minutes where you will get hands-on experience using the machine with the guidance of a trainer.
