Service Description

Join the Valley Fab Lab trainers for a step-by-step guide for digital CNC milling with our HandiBot machine. This event features two separate classes: using V-Carve studio to create your designs and digital milling with the HandiBot machine. You can use this machine to perform precise and easily repeatable cutting, carving, machining, and milling operations. Work with wood, MDF, plastics, foams, and aluminum. All at the press of a button. This machine has a work area of 6x8x3.25 inches and can cut material in 2-3 inches per second depending on material density. If you have not used the V-Carve design program, then the morning class is required. If you have already learned how to use it in another class, your attendance is optional, but it is always good to experiment with advanced functions with a VFL trainer for help. The clearance class will be 60-90 minutes where you will get hands-on experience using the machine with the guidance of a trainer. Class Benefits ● Clearance to use the HandiBot machine independently ● Design skills in V-Carve ● Take home your own custom bowl ● Meet other makers of diverse backgrounds ● Gain insight to the applications of other VFL machines Materials ● Laptops, software, and wood are provided For More Information ● About the HandiBot Machine: https://handibot.com/handibot.php ● CNC Community Forum: https://www.vectric.com/ ● CNC Project Inspiration:https://www.designandmake.com/
